Special Education Services

Providence Hall wants to ensure each student has a successful learning experience at school. We are committed to creating an environment that is inclusive to all our students. Our special education program works alongside parents/guardians, teachers, and students to ensure high-quality educational opportunities for all our Patriots.

If you know of a current Providence Hall student who might qualify for Special Education services, including a student suspected of having a disability even though (s)he is advancing from grade to grade, please contact your student’s teacher, administrator, or Providence Hall’s Special Director.

Providence Hall has partnered with Utah Parent Center and if parents/guardians ever have any questions or concerns, they can contact them free of charge.

STUDENT RECORDS

Special Education student records, including test results and evaluations, are maintained until a student reaches the age of 25. On July 1st of each year, Providence Hall will destroy special education records of previous students who are 25 years of age. Upon presentation of proper identification, an individual’s records will be released only to him/her until that date.
