Elementary Student Council

The Providence Hall Elementary Student Council is composed of 5th grade students elected by their peers and represent the voice of our students. They are referred to as SBOs [Student Body Officers]. They help to organize community service projects, arrange school-wide special activities, and provide input on school decisions.

Under teacher sponsor supervision, the SBOs come up with activity ideas, vote on the ones it will implement, plan all aspects of the activity and then run the activity. Elementary school activities are usually fun and engaging for the entire student body. The student council sponsors and school administration must approve all activities planned and carried out by the elementary student council.

They also serve as greeters for schoolwide functions, are responsible for raising and lower the U.S. Flag, record the PHAIM winners weekly, and assist with other projects as needed.
