OVERVIEWEnrollment is quick and easy. Our online enrollment process will capture your family information quickly, more efficiently and more accurately. Simply follow the instructions below to enter your family/student information.
Because of the popularity of Charter schools as an alternative to traditional public schools, most classes, especially those in the younger grades, will be oversubscribed. As a result, we are required by law to select students via a lottery to give everyone an equal chance. Once a student is selected, their siblings are also selected, as long as there is room in their class. If there is not room for a sibling, that student is automatically placed on a "sibling priority list" and will receive the next available slot.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ1. Enrollment into this database does not guarantee admission.
2. Students are selected through a "random selection" process.
3. It does not help your chances to enter students multiple times.
4. Please verify your information before your lottery.
5. Read the lottery terms and conditions before enrolling.
6. Every family must have a unique e-mail address. Do not enroll multiple families under the same e-mail address.

2010 - 2011 EnrollmentEnrollment for the 2010-2011 school year will be done in two stages. The first stage will be the enrollment period for all younger siblings of current Providence Hall students who are entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2010. The second stage will be open enrollment for any family who has not previously enrolled in Providence Hall. Providence Hall has the capacity for 700 students total. We have 100 students per grade K-6, with four classes per grade.
VERIFY YOUR ENROLLMENTOnce you have enrolled, you will be assigned a confirmation number to login and verify your enrollment information, or edit any info if necessary. Common errors are transposing first and last names, placing kids in the wrong grades, incomplete email addresses, etc.
Please verify your information to assure accurate placement in the lottery system.
To request your confirmation code, select 2010-2011 Application Status and then resend confirmation code.
2010 Enrollment FAQQ: How do I see where my child is on the waiting list?A: Go to http://lottery.providencehall.com/lty/PH , click on "2010-2011 Application Status" Fill in the information and you will receive your password, which you can then use to look up your student's status.
Q: If my child is currently on the waiting list, do I need to re-enroll?A: No, open enrollment is only for those who have not previously enrolled in Providence Hall.
Q: What will happen if there are more siblings for Kindergarten than there are open spots?
A: If we have more than 100 incoming Kindergarten siblings, we will have to run a lottery for those students, and they will be admitted in the order they are chosen. Those who do not have spots will be put in order on the sibling priority waiting list.
Q: Who do I contact if we do not intend to re-enroll our children?A: Please contact Providence Hall's Secretary, Kathy Davis, at 432-7866 to let her know. You will also need to fill out a form stating that your child will not be attending Providence Hall for 2010-2011. The re-enrollment period has expired. If your student was not confirmed for next year - they will be placed in the general lottery for 2010-2011. | |
